View the MDCH Metadata Style Guide to learn more about the recommended guidelines for the creation of metadata for digital collections contributed to the MDCH Program. These guidelines in this document focus on the creation of metadata for access and do not include any guidelines or specifications for technical, administrative or other metadata. It should be noted that some of these guidelines, such as those that involved the use of controlled vocabularies, are best used for digital collections in a CONTENTdm-managed environment.
